Central Arkansas Roller Derby (CARD) is an all-female, flat track roller derby league based in Little Rock, Arkansas. Any female age 18 and up is eligible to join. Men and women make up our coaching, refereeing, and support staff — which is also open to anyone 18 and up. Central Arkansas Roller Derby was first established in 2006 and has been skating hard ever since. Today, we proudly skate as members of the Women’s Flat Track Derby Association (WFTDA).
We’ve had members from all over central Arkansas including the Little Rock, North Little Rock, Benton, Bryant, Cabot, Conway, and Malvern areas, and even Greenbriar and Batesville. Central Arkansas Roller Derby practices on Tuesdays and Thursdays at Oak Grove Life Center in North Little Rock, 10025 Oakland Dr, North Little Rock, AR 72118. For more information about attending practice, email firstname.lastname@example.org or message us on Facebook.
The members of Central Arkansas Roller Derby are committed to being positive role models in our community through displays of athleticism, good sportsmanship, and volunteerism. Central Arkansas Roller Derby members participate in community service for a number of local events and organizations around the Central Arkansas area. The league has raised money and gathered donations for charities such as Toys for Tots, Arkansas Children’s Hospital, the Pulaski County Humane Society, and the Arkansas Foodbank Network.
For the women and men of Central Arkansas Roller Derby, the sport of roller derby is an opportunity to meet people, work as a team, help out the community, improve themselves, and release stress through healthy exercise. Central Arkansas Roller Derby members represent a variety of lifestyles and backgrounds, such as accounting, teaching, science, engineering, medicine, law, students, mothers, designers, and artists. As a non-profit organization, we strive to spread awareness of roller derby as a sport, provide fun and entertainment, and connect with our community.
